Toast to the King
Charge your glass to the trillium throne
A toast to the Wolf-King we'll now intone
Fair we stand in the far Northland
All as one and no one alone
Chorus:
Raise, raise, raise your glass
Raise up a toast to the Northern King
Lift, lift, lift you voice
Lift up your voice that the lands may ring
Charge your glass to the Banner red
And the white flower crown'd above your head
Strong and proud sound the praises loud
Heart with Voice to the Wolflord's stead
Chorus:
Charge your glass to the Northland's crown
To the bright token of our sovereign ground
Let each voice sing, let the hall ring
Let the howl rise for miles around
Chorus:
(This song won the 'toasting contest' at last year's Pikeman's Pleasure.
It was hastily composed on a napkin using Lady Isotta's lipliner pencil! [I
still have that napking in my songbook :) ])
