The Hunter

CHORUS:
Lightning flashes in the sky
shadows dancing all near by
fear nor panic do I show
even when the hard winds blow

Verse 1.
Through the darkness I do seek
of the hunter, voices speak
fur and wings all shades of black
always watching stay ing back

An Owl hoot's "What brings you here?"
"I seek the Hunter, Is he near?"
"Search with your heart not with you mind."
"Search my heart than I will find."

(chorus)

Unto broken path's I go
Yonder I do spy a doe
Slowly I begin to stalk
Than I hear the strange wind talk

"May I join?" the wind does say
I only focus on my prey
"May I join?" the voice more near
"Show yourself, I do not fear."

(chorus)

Out of shadows thick and wild
I wait with caution not like a child
Eyes so dark peer back in kind
It's like your seeking through my mind.

"Who are you, why are you here?"
"I am the Hunter, you seek my dear"
"So you are the Hunter that I seek?"
"Yes, but no sound of trust you do not speak."

(chorus)

"Trust is something that you earn"
"Trust is something you must learn"
"That takes time, you know that well"
"I do agree, time will tell"

"Huntress is waht they call me here"
"So why do you seek me? Huntress dear."
"I was told many stories old,"
"about an old Hunter, told."

(chorus)

"Ah, so that is why you seek my guide"
"I seek a companion, to join by my side."
"You seek a mate, that's what you say."
"I seek a friend, not a mate this day."

"Where is your pack? You hunt alone?"
"I have no pack to call my own."
"Than I shall join with you this day."
"Than join my travels, lets seek our way."

(chorus, repeat if necessary)
