Come and Be

Show me the sea as you ride on its waves
Show me the clash of Cuchulain and Maeve.
Show me the songs that will make a man brave.
Show me the knowledge that every man craves.
And I will be your student.

Be my cauldron of Brighid, let me fill my cup.
Be my salmon of knowledge and call me to sup.
Come and be my teacher.

Show me the green isles of Erin so wild
Show me the moon as its light shimmers mild.
Show me the music of battle and trial.
Show me the world through the eyes of a child.
And I will be your pupil.

Be my cauldron of Brighid, let me fill my cup.
Be my salmon of knowledge and call me to sup.
Come and be my mentor.

Show me the alter and show me the knife.
Show me the callus of hardship and strife
Show me the war tunes drawn forth from the fife.
Show me the meaning of death and of life.
And I will be your apprentice.

Be my cauldron of Brighid, let me fill my cup
Be my salmon of knowledge and call me to sup.
Come and be my master.

Show me the walnut the hangs on the tree.
Show me the wisdom of giant and Sidhe.
Show me the nature’s divine symphony.
Show me the answers so I can be free.
And I will be your student.

Be my cauldron of Brighid, let me fill my cup
Be my salmon of knowledge and call me to sup.
Come and be my teacher.
