Our Ealdormere

Blood now is flowing o'er the battlefield
Our blades strike deathblows, but their blades hit shields.
Once more victorious, we rise o'er our foes.
Now in the trillium our pride only grows.

Our king leads proudly and our warriors fight
All for the kingdom, both peasant and knight.
Foemen are fleeing, our armies they fear,
For nothing's as glorious as our Ealdormere.

Up from the battle, and back to our homes
Back from the Southlands, no longer to roam.
We long for the wolf's cry, for those we hold dear.
We long for our homelands, for our Ealdormere.

Now with our families, we'll wait out the snows.
When sun shines and king calls to battle we'll go.
Once more with the summer the war cries we'll hear
The cries of the wolf pack and our Ealdormere.

Once more to battle with our swords held high,
With pride in the Northlands I'll live or I'll die.
To live I'll be happy, to die I'll hold dear
My honour, my homeland, the Great Ealdormere.
