The Mighty Oakhammer
(Sung to the tune "They Built the Ship Titanic")

Oh they say the good Oakhammer
Is always brave and true
And there's nare a kitchen quandary
That he can't sally through
With a pantry full and wide
And a flame right by his side
Once again the camp will never do without

Rise and shine
Go and get your bowl
For the food will be getting cold and then
You'll be out of luck
But never to fear
If you miss you'll always hear
There's a plate that I've put aside for you

Well you'd think the fair Oakhammer
Would have something to grieve
When the scouting had him at
The dread Kamikaze
But his service never failed
As the people all regaled
He would pour for you until the ale ran out

Rise and shine....

Once again the great Oakhammer
Had something on his mind
When he went from camp to camp
To see what he could find
But something went awry
As he was heard to cry
(spoken) Mongo like. Mongo collect whole set.

Rise and shine....

So the land of Ealdormere
Would like to raise a cheer
For the man who got them through
Another Pensic year
And we all want you to know
That we'll never let you go
So let's hear it for the Mighty Oakhammer

Rise and shine....
