Aedan, Where’s Your Berry?
(tune: “Donald, Where’s Yer Trousers??”)

Let the wolves bay high, let the wolves bay low,
Through the Eoforwic streets I go.
All the bartenders call “Hello –
Aedan, where’s your berry?”

I went drinking in an Eoforwic hall
Where many a drunk did stand and fall
But ne’er once did Aedan heed the call of
“Aedan, where’s your berry?”

Kaffa says to feed him naught but beer,
But that won’t last too long, I fear;
The Baron will to his Scotch adhere –
Someone get this man a berry!

I know a Viking who says he will
Mix up a drink that is fit to kill;
And Aedan has certainly drunk his fill
Till he earned himself a berry!

Finn Herjolfsson has a tale that pegs
The Baron sleeping wrapped ‘round kegs;
To not repeat, Aedan often begs –
Would you rather have a berry?

I’ve heard a tale of a balladeer
Who picks on Aedan a lot, I fear –
That the man deserves every word is clear –
And it certainly earned his berry!
