Music of the Bards
You are able to download Finale, MIDI and eventually, MP3 files from here! The Ealdormere Bardic College is working hard to get recordings of the works of the Bards of Ealdormere.  There may even be a CD in the future!

PLEASE NOTE!

Bards.ca currently employs two types of file formats for sharing music.

1. MIDI (.mid) is a popular format for storing tunes. It is playable in a wide variety of audio programs, like Real Media Player, Windows Media Player, or the one that we suggest, WinAmp, which is free. MIDI files are small, and are pretty ideal for our use.

2. Finale Notepad (.MUS) is a esoteric format. You've probably never heard or seen it before. To quote the Finale website "Finale is the world standard for creating, editing and printing sheet music." That about sums it up. Finale files on Bards.ca contain the sheet music to the songs you love. To Download Finale Notepad, visit www.codamusic.com, or visit their downloads section. They require a short registration, but it is free and pretty easy. Keep in mind that .MUS files can only be played with Finale Notepad.
